I am currently reading the book, The Power of Now : A guide to spiritual enlightenment by Eckhart Tolle and there’s this pause symbol after certain passages which suggests to stop reading the book for a moment, to become still and to comprehend whatever you read. As I kept on reading the book further, the symbol brought another meaning to me. A week ago, I put it up as my phone wallpaper to give me gentle reminders to take a pause from the ongoing chatter on my mind and feel my inner self, my consciousness beneath the mindless chatter. It helps me to remain calmer than before, bring clarity in whatever task I’m performing and also helps me to make good judgments. I realized the power of symbols after this event. What a couple of strokes of brushes with no prior identity or meaning can do, when turned into a symbol, is mesmerizing. Communicating the motive through symbol might seem incomplete or unjustified, but it certainly isn’t.

i love the meaning behind the symbol and how your writing was persuasive enough for the reader to believe and apply what you intended to portray through this.
